MEET THE COACH
Joseph has been involved in boxing for over 40 years. Starting at 8 years of age having 150 amateur fights. Winning 7 Welsh titles and a British title.
He decided to turn professional at 20 having 12 pro fights. "I decided to close the curtain on my career, I, unfortunately, suffered a stroke from which I have made sufficient enough of a recovery that I've been able to return to my beloved boxing but this time I have a new experience now through these young Amateur boxers we have here."
The boys are doing well and the gym has a great winners Atmosphere.
Making it an enjoyable experience for anyone that comes to use the gym for the purpose of keeping fit or to start a boxing career.

THE GYM
Teaching the art of boxing to juniors youth and adults male & female or
male-female boxercise and toning sessions
Eastside Boxing amateur boxing club has been open since 2016 in the small function room at the rear of the Excelsior club on Corporation road Newport we now have 3 welsh champions and a Welsh international.
Our junior introduction to boxing program is also doing well and will produce our champions of the future as a gym we are
regularly fighting and winning all over Wales.
